COMMODORE PERRY SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
November 19th, 2001
At the November 19th meeting, the Board acted on the
following items:
Personnel:
 | The Board approved the addition of Susan Solomon, Elizabeth Blatt, and Marilyn Painter
to the continuing list of substitutes. |
| The Board accepted the resignation of Bruce Wilson as volleyball coach and game manager
for girls and boys basketball. |
| The Board approved Randy Greathouse, Tyrone Cashdollar and Rob Powell as elementary
wrestling coaches. |
| The Board accepted the resignation of Laura Shook as wage tax collector for the
Sheakleyville Boro and appointed Kristine Riley to fill the vacancy. |
| The Board approved Mrs. Linda Hoffacker as game manager for varsity girls basketball and
Ms. Ellen Banick as game manager for Jr. High boys basketball. |
Academic:
| The Board approved a resolution to withhold tuition payments to the Einstein Academy
Charter School. |
| The Board approved the participation of three secondary students in the Midwestern
Intermediate Unit IV Cyber Service program for the remainder of the 2001-02 school year. |
| The Board approved the participation of Commodore Perry students in Jr. High Honors
Band, District 5 Honors Band, and District 5 Band. |
Operations:
| The Board approved Invensys as the company to provide an energy conservation program for
the District. |
| The Board approved the 2000-01 audit prepared by McGill, Power & Bell. |
| The Board approved the bond resolution to authorize the incurrence of $4,335,000
principal amount of nonelectoral indebtedness. |
| The Board thanked Dr. Christopher Moinet, Mr. Steven Riley, Mrs. Lisa May, and Mrs.
Sherry Dickson for their service to the District as they leave the Board.
